Collage
In January of 2024, I made a conscious decision to start an experimental body of collage work using the materials I had on hand, rather than initiate new drawings, prints, watercolors or mixed media.
These collages were made from a backlog of monoprints and other works on/of paper saved & collected over the years. Mixed media, such as watercolor, crayons, graphite, color pencil may used to adjust or enhance the image.
Working intuitively, abstract images are developed as I focus on formal elements of color, shape, line, space, and texture.
